Your writing is just such a pleasure to read! This newsletter is quickly approaching the Matt-Levine-quality-stratosphere (one word), weaving information, educated insights and genuinely funny commentary together in a way that's engaging and informative. I love it.
It looks like I'm turning into a groupie here, but whatever... I might miss the Run on some late Fridays, but it still reads like fresh rolls on a Monday morning. Thank you. It's so refreshing to have someone who just seems to make a whole lot of sense. BOOM!
Thanks Aaron ! ... I disliked Post Malone at first due to the autotune/vibrato but the more stuff I saw and heard live .. he's just seems like a really nice person who is very into being himself and not being like "fk you i don't care what you think" but more like "it's really important that i be myself and i have to accept that not everyone will like that" ... and he's a heck of a rock star when he rocks out!
Hi Brent, great essay this week - loved the commentary on inflation (I agree that it's a lagging indicator with rents and oil prices on the rise, so we'll see - could be wrong, though!). Also appreciated the link to the article written by V. Hagnani, et. al. at Elm Wealth on letting profits run/cut losses early - a timeless lesson I had to (re)learn the hard way a few years ago! Now I use that philosophy as an important part of my trading/investing process. Finally, I was surprised with the links to Post Malone's music; maybe it's me being an "old fart" but I just can't get past the face tattoos to enjoy his music but still, kudos to you for keeping an open mind! Wishing you safe travels and profitable trading this week.
That Post Malone Nirvana video reminds me of the whole covid scam when every country had its own variation of the covidian mantras of stay home/stay safe. Great music though!

Love this note Brent.
Sorry, your victory lap won’t jinx your trade because you already said that you were expecting it to potentially jinx it.
<Dude reading this> Sorry, you expect it to not be jinxed because he said he expected it, so that’s going to jinx it.
<Dude reading the other dude> Sorry (etc., in a loop).
INFINITE REGRESS
I feel like the COVID has unlocked a peculiar level of clarity. This was a particularly good Speedrun. Feel better soon.
