Thanks Brent.

Interesting to see the MXN carry trade breakdown with treasuries at the time of the bad auction. Also interesting that there was a hack of a Chinese bank which could have been the cause of the bad auction, maybe that’s why it was priced out Friday & stocks resumed the rally.

Apple broke out of a riding wedge before the index & looks like it’s off to the races.

The thing with Powell being hawkish or dovish when there is fundamentally no difference in the message is that the market sees what it wants to see and spreads sentiment in the way it wants to see it blown by the wind. I mean, what's the logic in saying he was dovish in the last FOMC when the message was essentially the same (I think you even shared the minor differences in a paragraph) as the one from the previous meeting? What was hawkish about what he said this week? It just reinforced the auction fear before the auctioneer closed the f* door on his way out.

Will listen to the chat with Tony next. Cheers!

Thanks for sharing!

The academic paper is crazy indeed. "By relating cubits to metres and days to seconds, this mighty monument quite deliberately encodes the value of c..." I wasn't aware that the SI system dates back to the old Egyptians.
